The ruby weighs 2.31 carats, measures 6.7 mm wide by 7.7 mm long, and is 4 prong set. In addition, there are seventy-four prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, D-E-F color, VS1 clarity, with a total weight of 0.56 carat. The ring weighs 5.48 grams.  Ruby is enhanced by heating.
