An exceptional solitaire gypsy ring set with a 0.45ct old mine cut diamond. The stone is chunky and bright, and lies in a simple rub over setting. It's crafted in rich 18k yellow gold throughout with a lovely tapered band, and it dates from the Victorian period, circa 1880.
